It has been one frigid week here!  Glad to have the barn to bring my fellas in.  Temps are better today but it's snowing!

Jackie, did you try Amy Olson at Rising Star Stables?  They are just a few minutes north of Two Rivers.  I think she might trade work for lessons!

Looking for a barn that is willing to trade work for lessons/board. Lessons now then maybe board in the spring. I'm in Manitowoc county...would prefer close to Two Rivers are.

We're having some great weather in northeast Wisconsin.  Upper 20's lower 30's so it's not too unbearable to be out in the barn doing chores!  We're finally dug out from the big blizzard, but my minis pen is still a mess!  We have their shed, feed and water area cleaned out and snowblowed around the fenceline so they have a racetrack to run around on!  The rest of the snow is over chest high so the poor things have lost part of their turnout!

It's starting to get cold out there! To blanket or not to blanket. What do you do?
